Terms of Service

Effective date: June 8, 2026 Last updated: June 27, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and vibi ("vibi", "we", "us", "our") governing your use of the vibi mobile application (iOS bundle com.vibi.ios, Android package com.vibi.app), the vibi panel for Adobe Premiere Pro, and our related backend services (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old (or the higher minimum age required in your country) and old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.

2. Your account

  • You sign in using Google or Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it current.
  • Notify us at jepark2934@gmail.com of any unauthorized use.
  • You may delete your account at any time in the App (Settings → Account).

3. The Service

vibi lets you edit audio and video — including AI-assisted voice/music separation, speech transcription/speaker diarization, adding background music, and rendering. The Premiere Pro panel separates a clip's audio into per-speaker stems plus a timecoded transcript and sends the result back into your project. Processing happens partly on your device and partly on our servers (and our AI processor, Perso). We may change, add, or remove features over time.

4. Credits and purchases

  • Some features (e.g., audio separation, rendering) consume credits. New accounts receive a small number of free credits, and you may earn additional free credits by watching optional rewarded ads (see §4.2).
  • Where paid credits are offered, they are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing (in the mobile App), or Paddle (for web/desktop, including the Premiere Pro panel). Those providers process payment and their terms apply.
  • Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may change prospectively.
  • Credits are a limited license to use Service features, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not redeemable for money except where the law requires.
  • Credits do not expire unless an expiry is disclosed at the time of purchase.

4.1 Refunds and consumer withdrawal

  • Purchases are generally final, except as required by law or the rules of the relevant app store. Refund requests for store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
  • EU/EEA & UK: You normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases; by starting to use a credit/feature immediately you may consent to begin performance and acknowledge the loss of that right for the consumed portion.
  • Korea: Consumer rights under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (전자상거래법) apply; statutory withdrawal/refund rights are not waived by these Terms.

4.2 Rewarded ads

The App may offer rewarded ads served by Google AdMob: you can choose to watch a short video ad to earn a free credit, up to a daily limit. This is optional and user-initiated. Credits earned this way are subject to §4 (no cash value, non-transferable, not redeemable for money). We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads, and any dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them. How ad data is used is described in our Privacy Policy. We may change, limit, or withdraw the rewarded-ad feature — including the daily limit and reward amount — at any time.

5. Your content

  • You keep ownership of the video, audio, and other content you upload or create ("Your Content").
  • You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and modify Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, to separate audio and render your video). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups or records the law requires us to keep.
  • We do not use Your Content for advertising or to train third-party AI models.

6. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload, and that processing it through the Service does not infringe anyone's rights. You agree not to:

  • upload content you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted music, video, or audio you don't have a license for;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
  • upload unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or sexually exploitative material, or content depicting or harming minors;
  • create deceptive deepfakes or impersonate others unlawfully;
  • reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or attempt to bypass usage limits or security of the Service;
  • resell or commercially exploit the Service except as we expressly permit.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and how you use the outputs you create.

7. Intellectual property in the Service

The Service, including the App, software, branding, and "vibi" name and logo, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (Apple, Google — including AdMob advertising, Adobe, our AI processor Perso, the Paddle payment platform, and our hosting/storage providers such as Cloudflare). Their terms and policies apply to their portions, and we are not responsible for third-party services. If you obtained the Premiere Pro panel through the Adobe Marketplace / Exchange, your use is also subject to Adobe's applicable terms.

9. AI-generated output disclaimer

AI separation and rendering are automated and imperfect. Output quality may vary, and results are provided "as is." You are responsible for reviewing outputs and for ensuring your use of them complies with the law and any third-party rights.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend or limit the Service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons, and may impose reasonable usage limits.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or as required by law. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., §5 license tail, §7, §12–§15) survive.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., for gross negligence, fraud, or, in some jurisdictions, personal injury). Mandatory consumer-protection rights in the EU and Korea are not affected by this section.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights. This does not apply where prohibited for consumers under applicable law.

15. Governing law and disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
  • Disputes will be resolved in the Seoul Central District Court, unless mandatory law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
  • EU/UK/Korea consumers keep the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their home country; nothing here deprives you of those rights.

16. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will provide reasonable notice (in-App or by email) and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.

17. Apple-specific terms

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce these Terms. Your use must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the App Store Usage Rules.

18. Google Play terms

If you obtained the App from Google Play, your use must also comply with the Google Play Terms of Service.

19. General

  • Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver: Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
